how to stitch Sashiko, the traditional Japanese embroidery, and how to use it on your covers.
I never promise you will learn anything !

I record my classes without cuts or editing, using my phone and Zoom platform. Sometimes there are noises from the surrounding of my apartment like traffic and birds too. or neighbors. Or football match because I live in front of Maracanã. Google it if you don´t know what that is.

About me:
My name is Rachel, I am Brazilian, carioca, as Rio de Janeiro´s born are called. I have been bookbinding for 9 years. Have my studio at home and pay my bills with my work. So, thank you for helping me.
I learnt Sewnboards Binding in 2018 with Karen Hanmer, in her studio in Illinois, USA, and have being playing with it´s structure since them.
This is my way of make it, Simplified, with no opening on the spine, turning it foldable and faster to produce.
I named it Cremita, from the cream color and delicious feel of the paper I use to make my books. Haha, what a stupid name to pick !!!!
